This is statement of RARA - for Able Kids:
Dr. Joan Burleigh Resigns Post
The Board of Directors of Royal Arch Research Assistance has been advised of the resignation of Dr. Joan Burleigh as CEO and chief researcher of the Able Kids Foundation.
As a result of Dr. Burleigh’s resignation, the board held an emergency meeting and has issued the following statement:
“The General Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons, International, through our philanthropy, known as Royal Arch Research Assistance, will continue to contribution funds to organizations who are conducting research into Auditory Perception Difficulties. The Board is considering the possibility of becoming more diverse in the future by funding grants for research as well. Be assured of our prompt and considered action to assure the best possible use of RARA funds.”

2. A listing of contributions, by Jurisdiction [.pdf] May 31, 2010.
3. A listing of Chapters awarded 100% Certificates of Appreciation [.pdf] during this period. There are 137 Chapters on the list this period, which is a marked increase from the previous period. Of these Chapters, six (6) received their first such award, five (5) received their 10th and one (14) received their 20th. Each of these last twelve (12) Chapters have become eligible for, and will receive one of our distinctive Plaques.
Certificates of Appreciation issued during the period were:
RED---------72, of which 24 were for 'other than a Chapter'.
SILVER---- 80, of which 30 were for 'other than a Chapter'.
GOLD------ 165, of which 72 were for 'other than a Chapter'.
We issued 13 Lapel Pins during the period, each of which had one or more stones, and had stones added to 11 other pins. As in the past, the recipients have not been identified.

Certificates are designed for contributions of $25.00, $50.00, and $100.00. A $500.00 dollar contribution receives a very impressive pin with a diamond in the center. Additional contributions of $500.00 add a small diamond to the pin. Certificates and pins are awarded to both individual donors and donating organizations. Donations are IRS deductible.
