FROM THE WEST
I commend the officers and members of Victory Daylight Lodge for their untiring efforts in raising, passing and raising our new candidates and brothers.  It is quite an accomplishment for first quarter; in a short period of time. This proves that hard work, dedication and willingness to learn our rituals by attending Calcott School and practice sessions enable the lodge to be flexible and always ready to conduct business, works and instructions in short notice.
The coming next months will be as busy, so let us not put our guards down but continue to be at our best.  Your support will be more needed during our lodge fund raising events, not to mention our two EA's and one FC.  I have no doubt that your one hundred percent participation to our lodge functions and support to our Worshipful Master will always be there.
Lastly, I would like to thank the brethren (needless to mention names) who filled-in for me during my absence.  Your unrelenting commitment to the lodge is very commendable as always.  Thank you all.

FROM THE SOUTH
Brethren, as the first quarter of our Masonic year is coming to a close, let me thank one and all for your untiring support to me and all the officers of our lodge. Yes indeed, the days are just passing us by quick and smooth so let us make the most of it and move on.
      Also, let me congratulate and welcome those newly raised master masons. To our SW, congratulation on your successful training for the homeland security. Welcome back. To our very own DDGM Rt Wor Ernie B Soriano, on behalf of VDL 1778 I congratulate you on being elected to the position thereof.
      We started so far this year in a very positive note. Evidence is the raising of three brethren, passing one and initiating another. With all of these degree works, hats off to those who in one way or another helped in making these to happen.
       Me and my stewards in the south are just doing great. We always try
 to put forth every effort to make sure refreshments are being served with dignity and pride and see that non go away dissatisfied.   
        Lastly, I encourage all of you my brethren to come out and join us on our fellowships and stated meetings. Always remember those points of your obligation which you have sworn. Perform  them faithfully and masonically. I wish everyone to have fruitful days to come.

Brethren as usual I encourage everyone to purchase a LIFE MEMBERSHIP in Perpetuity. This may be done in installments, which can be tailored to your financial condition.
A REMINDER, as you know the Lodge voted to buy into the Granby Street Temple. Every member except the LMIPs (who got their LIMP before Dec 2002), Fifty Year members, and Honorary members, will be assessed $40.00 a year for fifteen (15) years.  After 1 January 2003 the assessment was not a new charge. The Methodical Digest states that anyone with a LMIP can't be assessed for new charges.
If anyone has a question about this Please contact one of the officers or myself. New members only pay until 2018.
LMIPS WILL BE $1856.00 PLUS THE CURRENT YEARS DUES FOR A TOTAL OF $1972.00
PLEASE CHECK YOUR DUES CARDS; WE STILL HAVE EIGHT (8) THAT OWE FOR 2007, AND TWENTY NINE WHO OWE FOR 2008.
