The Brazilian Masons has dreamed for a long time, to have A Royal Arch Chapter, ruled by Brazilian Masons. once 80% of our masons has been working in Scottish Rite, the other 20% has worked in Adoniramite, Modern, Schroeder, Brazilian, French Rites. Less than 2% has been working hard to establish York Rite here in Brazil.
In 1993 "The José Guimarães Gonçalves Chapter" was Chartered in Rio de Janeiro, and our long journey was initiated. Only in 1997 the second Chapter was then chartered in Rio Grande do Sul, " The Thomas Smith Webb Chapter " and at the Year 2000, the third Chapter was Created " The Keystone Chapter "
With the recognition of "Grande Oriente do Brazil", the largest Masonic organization of Brazil by North American Grand Lodges, and by the same token the recognition of many Brazilian State Grand Lodges by UGLE, in recent years made a strong contribution to the union of York Rite masons in Brazil and a fast growing up era for our Rite was established In May of 2001 The Brazilian Grand Chapter was Chartered, and Now we are creating Royal Arch Chapters all over the Brazilian territory.
We created a foundation to take care of orphans and poor Children named:
